Introduction
Singapore Professionals Network (SPN) was established in January 2005 to address the need for professional networking and career development amongst Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans working and living in UK. The two core tenets of SPN are as follows:

-Networking: To provide a networking resource for Singaporean and non-Singaporean professionals working in all industries in the UK; and

-Mentoring: To provide a mentoring network for Singaporean and non-Singaporean undergraduates and post-graduates transitioning from academia to full-time employment

SPN seeks to provide a professional platform for members to develop their networks and careers. Its activities focus on the professional aspects of career development, progression and network expansion. Industry-specific activities for each industry silo will be organized to cater to the diverse groups of members in SPN.

SPN will also establish a formal mentoring program for undergraduates and postgraduates in UK to address the current lack of formal knowledge transfer in our community. SPN aims to prepare these students for the transition from academia to full-time employment in building up the necessary skills.
